Solo levelling is one of my personal favourite manwha and it is finally getting started with its own adaptation. The man who is recently marked its 180 overwhelmingly impressive chapter. In the world where hunters fight monsters with their magical power to defend humanity and increase their level after defeating each monster.
Enter Sung jin-woo the worst hunter in the world in a starting few chapters and he is also our main protagonist in this manwha. His life is terrible, his mom is sick, she has a disease called eternal slumber which is just not get cured. His father is missing and he is trying to get his sister through high school. The back story of our main character is worst and then our protagonist with their hunter enter a double dungeon and it's chaos everywhere in the dungeon, Sung Jin-woo is basically one of the only people left. He is supposed to die but he does not and instead, he comes back to life and gets double awakened. Double awakening is a super rare power in this world, awakening is like quirks and people who get awakened special powers are those power used to fight monsters in the dungeon. Your power and strength determine your rank as a hunter. The lowest rank is Rank-E and the highest one is Rank-S, in S-rank your power is unmeasurable and then there are national-level hunters and they are calamities even the military cannot handle them.
After a double dungeon incident Sung Jin-woo wakes on the hospital bed with double awakening power and he got the notification to do some certain task or else he will send into some tough punishment places. He start doing these different tasks he is given and he starts levelling up which is unheard of in this world. These dungeon gates in which hunters are going to destroy monsters is like a video game in which you can level up your rank and I thought it is similar to swords art online however it is not. It's not like there is a game world, all they know is their current world and that there are monsters out here lying in a different world. Sung Jin-woo now has gaming logic installed within his body and he is now a video game character and everyone is regular. Within the months he got taller his shoulder got broader and beaten monsters in high-level dungeons and now he is not only getting stronger he got more elaborate how guild is working and how politics within the guilds work and how different country rely on their guilds to show their power.
The fact that this manwha does not have to focus on Sung ji-woo, it's protagonist to remain entertaining. As Sung ji-woo getting stronger you were more focusing on other side character like jin ho who is another hunter not a stronger one though but his friendship and care towards Sung Ji-woo show how strong their brotherhood is!
As a story goes on he gets to chance to pick a class and he become shadow monarch and as a shadow monarch he is able to revive monster and just being in general that he is killed. Igris is the first shadow he extracted and since then igris always been the bodyguard. It just like pokemon but instead of pokemon you are collecting your own shadow army and also you can level up your shadow monarch. The system is a terrifying concept honestly. Whether you like it or not it kind of forces you to become a being that overall becomes something unrecognizable. And the limits of the system seem to be pretty small given how much more dangerous the fates become while it’s in play.
I personally recommend to read this manwha solo levelling it is just one of the best and most awesome series I ever has been read, you can read solo levelling on happy tune, even if you are a manga reader or only comic reader, Solo Leveling is simply awesome.
